Dr. Winkelmann’s journey in medicine began at a young age when traditional (allopathic) medicine just wasn’t helping anymore. He bounced around from doctor to doctor with little improvement in his health. It was not until he started seeing practitioners in the complimentary and alternative medicine community that he really started experiencing true health.
Dr. Winkelmann graduated from Ripon College with a BA in Chemistry-Biology. This is where he learned about Naturopathic medicine for the first time. Jason started the doctor of Naturopathic medicine program at National University of Health Sciences immediately after his college graduation. A year after graduating from the Naturopathic Medicine program he graduated the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine program.
Dr. Winkelmann combines the best of Naturopathic and Chiropractic Medicine to offer the best patient-centered healthcare possible. He believes the best way to achieve health is to treat the whole body, find and treat the underlining cause of disease, and prevent further disease by creating the conditions for health and educating his patients. The body has the innate ability to heal itself, better than any medicine can, it just needs a little support sometimes.
